Safelists

What was your view on SafeLists? is it worth having my own or joining some for free ad testing? "

Hmmm, good question. I personally don't use safelists but have heard some people say they have some success with them. I have one friend who targets his marketing around safelists. He has even developed a spreadsheet for managing them located at: http://www.safelisthub.com.

Other opinions vary, some people think they are like FFA sites and don't fool with them at all. If you decide to try them, be sure have a good email client and management system because you will be receive a huge amount of email if you join a lot of lists. Another concern I have heard is the potential of spam complaints even though they are "safelists".
